The Mill Grav Two Dimensional Profile Milling, Routing and Engraving Machine is a purpose built sturdy machine tool to partner the new Apex series controller.
Built to machine tool standards, Apex Mill Grav fulfils the requirements for a versatile low cost CNC machine tool.
The precision built X-Y table, fitted with high performance stepper motors is directly controlled by the Apex series controller.
The cutter spindle has been specially designed for a continuous operating speed range of 1,500rpm to 28,000rpm using a flat belt system producing 3/4h.p. (approx) capacity at the spindle. It accepts SCHAUBLIN ESX 16 type high concentricity collets from 3 to 10mm with an adaptor for taper shank cutters. The spindle feed is programmable from 0-65mm (0-2.55") at feed rates of 8mm to 6000mm per minute, with full manual override.
